 "Standing Proud over St. Marks"

I finished this painting this year and I am very proud of it. We moved back to Europe in 2020 so it's been a crazy ride again in our lives.  When we finally got settled in I set to work on the larger piece and finished it Summer 2021.

 Venice is one of our favorite cities in the world, like most people, and I felt again the need to paint a scene from there.  I love the dusk lighting of this shot, it was such a gorgeous night! My husband, son, and I were in Venice for New Years and it was definitely a night to remember.  I had to commemorate it with a painting, and I hope you like it as well.
